I love creating stories from moments I photograph.  When I see a natural look, smile or gesture I know I have what I want.  I have always been fascinated with the art of photography.  For me the ability to capture moments and make memories last a lifetime for my clients is so rewarding. I am very blessed to be able to do what I love and make people so happy with my work. 

Fátima Barroso is a freelance photographer known for her fun and photojournalistic approach to capturing the unexpected moments. Her passion for photography has always been within her since she was a very young child, and it is visible in her photographs. Her work spans from family portraits, christenings, bar/ bat mitzvahs, special events to wedding photography. Fátima is also a freelance photographer for the Fairfield County newspaper in Connecticut.
 

Photography is my gift and I can use it to help make a difference.

I am donating a percentage of the proceeds for prints ordered of any image in my "Travel" section to the following organizations:  Operationsmile.org, One.org and Amnesty.org.  If you have a personal preference that will also be considered.
